Our feasts are big sharing mains, cooked on the charcoal grill and served on one board in the middle of the table. It’s how Hunter & Barrel began, and it’s still our favourite way to eat.
What Is a Feast?
A feast is a main course to share between 2-3 people, not just one person. The meat arrives together on one board, it goes in the middle, and everyone helps themselves. We have two: the Hunter’s Feast and the Tomahawk Feast.

The Tomahawk Feast
One big steak, with sides, for the middle of the table.
A Tomahawk is a Rib-Eye steak with the long rib bone left on. Ours is a 1.1kg O’Connor Grain-Fed Tomahawk, and it comes with four signature sides.

Good for: steak lovers and special occasions.
Why We Feast
Long before plated meals, people ate together around the fire after the hunt and shared whatever the day had brought.
Hunter & Barrel is built on that idea. Our feasts are the simplest way we bring it to your table: good food, shared with the people you came with.

Tips for Sharing a Feast
Start with a board. The Hunter Tasting Board has four entrées to share: Smoky Chilli Wings, Garlic Bread, Sticky Rib Bites and Calamari.
Add more sides. The Sides Board adds Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Truffle & Mushroom Mac & Cheese and Chips or Salad.
Pair it with the barrel. Our Barrel-Aged Cocktails, where spirits are rested in American White Oak, with warm notes of vanilla and spice.
Finish sweet. The Sweet Share Board has a Chocolate S’more, Basque Cheesecake and a Cronut.
Feast, Dining Experience or Set Menu?
Three ways to eat together at Hunter & Barrel, and how they differ.
A Feast
A shared main course, ordered at the table on the night. Two on the menu: the Hunter’s Feast and the Tomahawk Feast.
A Dining Experience
A pre-paid menu for two, bought online and enjoyed later. The Tomahawk Experience is built around the Tomahawk Feast, with a starter, dessert and a drink.
A Set Menu
For bigger bookings, the whole table moves to a Set Menu so everyone eats together.
