Anti-Valentine’s Day at Hunter & Barrel on February 13
This year, make it a day about treating yourself and hanging out with friends, family, or even an old flame.
Because at Hunter & Barrel, we’re planning a special night of no pink garlands, no roses on the table, and no candy hearts strewn about the place.
Instead, we’re offering a special three-course meal made to enjoy with mates. You’ll start with a glass of bubbly and your choice of entree. Choose from the Seafood plate, Warm Goat’s Cheese, Harissa Prawns or Hunter plate – to start.
Next, you’ll take your choice of mains, of which we’re offering a variety of our very best. From a classic surf and turf to a flavourful chargrilled tuna steak. Finally, you’ll finish with the only sweet thing of the evening, a delicious dessert (again of your choosing from our set menu).
We’re welcoming everyone on Sunday Night so you’re more than welcome to bring your romantic partner, so long as you promise to keep the hand holding to a minimum. Remember, that there are absolutely NO proposals allowed (you may, however, propose a toast at any time).
Actual Valentine’s Day at Hunter & Barrel on February 14
Sorry anti-Valentiners, but once that clock strikes midnight, Hunter & Barrel just can’t get enough of the love.
That’s why on February 14, we’re inviting you to bring in your better half for an evening of woo’ing and wow’ing. We’ll take care of the wow’ing, you’re on for the woo’ing.
We’ll welcome you in with a romantic glass of prosecco each. If you lovebirds can tear your eyes away from one another for long enough, we’ll ask you to browse your menus to decide what the night will entail.
Both nights have the same menu so your choice of entrée will include a seafood plate, a Hunter plate, Harissa prawns, and the moreish warm goat’s cheese.
You’ll sashay into your main course, again enjoying your choice of a range of our most exquisite meals. Including tuna steak, duck breast, surf and turf, or an in-house dry aged striploin skewer.
For only the second sweetest thing at your table, you’ll either enjoy a light and fluffy strawberry mousse cheesecake or a rich warm chocolate cake to finish. Or perhaps you’ll take the Australian cheese plate if sweet isn’t to your taste.
